Larry Hammack, Adjutant of the Captain Granville Henderson Oury Camp 1708, Sons of Confederate Veterans (Scottsdale, Arizona) reads a poem in honour of the Confederate Battle Flag and the men who fought and died under it.
Tom Tatum, Commander of the Colonel Sherod Hunter Camp 1525, Sons of Confederate Veterans, lays a wreath at the Confederate Veterans Monument on behalf of Camp 1525 and the Arizona Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans.
The Honour Guard, consisting of members of the 5th Texas Infantry and 1st U.S. Infantry, Arizona Civil War Council, as well as members of the Colonel Sherod Hunter Camp 1525 and Captain Granville Henderson Oury Camp 1708, Sons of Confederate Veterans. The Honour Guard fires one of three volleys in salute to the Confederate dead.
The U.D.C. placed roses in the barrels of the rifles of all the members of the Honour Guard after the ceremony.
